- GAC cartridges are not rated for the reduction of sediment.
- GAC filters can be constructed with either up flow or radial flow. Up flow cartridges have greater capacity, higher pressure drops and low flow rates. Radial flow cartridges can handle high flow rates at lower pressure drops and have a a lower filtering capacity.
